“inner work” is a dialogue game in the truest sense: It fosters exchange - also internationally. In this case between us, minc, and the Center for Væredygtighed from Aarhus. This Danish sustainability organization, which was established in 2013, is entirely dedicated to “Væredygtighed” - a combination, a play on words, of the Danish terms for 'sustainability' and 'to be'. A concept that could be referred to in English as 'inner sustainability'. In the Danish original, the dialog game around which our cooperation revolves is called “Væredygtighed” for good reason. The card set inspires both inner and sustainable development – without giving answers itself. And thus reflects the aim of the team around Christian Dietrichsen, project manager of the organization. With this vision of a sustainable transformation that begins within us people, the organization, initiates various events, holds workshops, advises, facilitates, develops projects, tools, methods, and currently also a book – and has released this special dialogue game that we now have the privilege of working on together.
